"Beauty will save the world."

- Dostoevsky

How many boys will hear vile, chaotic pop-culture songs before they ever hear classical, transcendent music? How many boys and men are fed fast food and cheap beer before knowing what a delicious steak and fine wine tastes like? How many boys are exposed to the empty promises of lust before being immersed in the grandeur of God's Creation in nature? Every boy and man faces the question "where will I find happiness, and do I have what it takes to get and keep it?" The norm in our society has been to offer shallow and false answers, and it is destroying the hearts of our men. Bosco Ministries is changing that by igniting the hearts of boys and men to resilient joy. Inspired by the Preventative Method of St. John Bosco and led by FSSP Priests and Seminarians, Bosco Ministries crafts formative experiences that immerse boys and men in beauty, and guides them to be Holy, Happy, and Hazardous.

"Beauty will save the world." - Dostoevsky, The Idiot

Join Fr. Matthew Jagas, FSSP and cellist Dr. Larissa Fedoryka for an unforgettable evening of immersion in the foundations of beauty in music and faith.

A Bosco Ministries initiative, Building Beautiful is a unique evening program that supports a mission of igniting the hearts of boys and men to authentic masculine joy- a joy rooted in Christ, informed by beauty, and formed through virtue. It is an event that provides both an experience and understanding of beauty, while giving articulate expression to the truth contained in well-ordered sounds and spaces. In an age of confusion, collapse, and chaos, one truth remains: Beauty can restore what has been lost.

Dr. Larissa will gift us with her talent as a master cello player, and share her wisdom on how to access the foundational importance of musical experience. Her program, Painting with Music, brings us into contact with beauty in a transformational way.

Fr. Matthew Jagas, of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, will lead us through an experience of understanding the spirituality of St. Peter through the lens of history, architecture, archaeology, scripture and Faith.

Together we will experience the foundational building blocks of Catholic Culture: Beauty. Truth. Goodness.

Thanks to our generous donors we are offering you a 75.00 FREE ticket for you to enjoy:

A spread of gourmet hours d'oeuvre and charcuterie

California Artisan wines

A professional program of music, poetry and faith.

Building Beautiful is not just an event. It is a movement, a movement to restore meaning to the lives of boys and men, a movement to build beautiful foundations.

This event is SOLD OUT! Praise God! If you are still interested in joining us this evening and building beautiful things, you can tune into the livestream via the link below!

Fr. Matther Jagas, FSSP

Fr. Matthew Jagas FSSP was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, the second of four children. With his family, Fr. Jagas discovered the Traditional Latin Mass in 2014, after attending St. Anne’s Parish for most of his childhood. This discovery awakened in him a desire to pursue a vocation to the Holy Priesthood.

A successful student-athlete, Fr. Jagas graduated with a degree in History as a multi-time Ontario and national university wrestling champion. Aside from receiving national recognition for his academic work, in 2014, Fr. Jagas won bronze at the Junior Pan American Wrestling Championships in Santiago, Chile. He went on to win gold at the Ontario University Athletics championships in 2016, and medaled twice at the U SPORTS National Championships, winning gold in 2017 and silver in 2018.

After finishing his degree, Fr. Jagas entered Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary in Denton, NE, and was ordained on May 28, 2025. Father Jagas currently serves as a Parochial Vicar in Ottowa, Canada at St. Anne Church where he continues enjoys playing sports and researching theological and historical questions, especially when they center around our patron, St. Peter.

Why are we doing this?

Through adventurous Catholic experiences led by priests and seminarians of the FSSP, Bosco Ministries is giving joy to the hearts of boys and men. By facilitating programs in which priests and seminarians are with the boys and the men through the entire experience- at the table and on the trail, in prayer and around the fire, in quiet talks and in physical challenge- Bosco Ministries is giving the joy that comes from closeness with Christ in the confidence of being loved. Inspired by the example of St. John Bosco and his Preventative Method, Bosco Ministries is striving to proactively form boys and men who through experiencing that which is truly good and beautiful, can resist the allures of the world which modern culture frames as being answers to their longings. We do this mainly through a variety of summer camps, wilderness expeditions, and mission trips for boys and men ranging all the way from age 13 to 25.

So why are we hosting and inviting you to a cultural event like Building Beautiful?

Building beautiful things requires strong foundations like forming men from their youth through programs like our camps, but it also requires seeing that foundation built upon into adulthood. Why would a boy trade what is shallow and fleeting for something that is beautiful and lasting if the men in his life don't?

Building Beautiful is crafted to engage our community in deep thought and experience of what Bosco Ministries is striving to do. At this event you will not only see beauty you will hear it, feel it and taste it through a beautiful presentation on sacred scripture and history, stirring cello music, the profound testimony of Bosco Ministries participants, and the fellowship of the Denver community over carefully crafted food and wines.

This beauty is not a luxury. It’s a necessity.

Beauty teaches the soul to seek God. It orders the mind. It forms the heart. It prepares us for Truth.

We are inviting you to join us in our mission to build beautiful: beautiful buildings and beautiful hearts, a foundation for a beautiful culture.

We are building beautiful hearts in boys and young men through our programs.

We are building a beautiful property to do it sustainably for generations to come.

We are building beautiful communities and families that share this mission.

This event isn't an ask to give financially, it's an invitation to join the movement of building something truly beautiful, starting by experiencing it.
