Inspired by a Powerful Patron

In the wild beauty of the Pocono Mountains near Scranton, Pennsylvania, Camp St. Isaac Jogues challenges boys aged 13-15 to a 12 day adventure. Strengthened by his unshakable faith, our namesake St. Isaac Jogues overcame unbelievable hardship while ministering to North American tribes in the 1600s. Inspired by his courage and dedication, campers strengthen both body and soul while being formed by the majesty God’s creation. Situated at Carpathian Village (a Byzantine Catholic Shrine to St. Nicholas and retreat center), young men hike, play on the sports field, pray at our open-air chapel, and learn from our chaplain and seminarians. Join us for an adventure that builds faith, joy, and leadership.

Truly Joyful

Why Choose Camp St. Isaac Jogues

Like you, we want young men to be grounded in their Catholic faith, surrounded by a supportive community, and engaged in meaningful, character-building activities

Opportunities to encounter God.

At Camp St. Isaac Jogues, we believe that to be truly Catholic is to be truly joyful. Young people don’t just need to be taught the Truth of Jesus Christ, they need to love it. Godly men with enduring faith are built through experiencing the Truth of Jesus. And we provide boys and young men opportunities to encounter God in His clergy, His Church, and eachother in the midst of His majestic creation. At our camps, young men frequent the sacraments, hike, and play sports with the chaplain and seminarians. They make new friends, grow in their faith, and (God willing) leave the camp more Christ-like than they came.

Bosco Ministries
Rooted in Faith

At CSIJ, spiritual formation undergirds every minute. Guided by FSSP priests and seminarians, boys are immersed in a faith-driven environment built on Catholic values. They partake in daily Traditional Latin Mass and enriching spiritual talks to nurture a lifetime of spiritual growth.

Adventure with Purpose

We believe every moment is a call to grow and learn. We integrate faith and formation into every adventure, from hiking the majestic Pocono Mountains to building resilience and leadership through playing team sports. Just as St. Isaac Jogues’ faith was galvanized in the crucible of the wilderness, it’s our goal to shape fearless leaders who answer the call to joyful, Catholic manhood.

Leadership By Example

Godly, Catholic men are formed by experiencing Jesus through His clergy. And for boys to build enduring faith, they need authentic spiritual mentorship by men who exemplify joyful, holy living. CSIJ is staffed by seminarians from Our Lady of Guadalupe who live out Christ’s teaching — and share a passion for the outdoors! Our team is trained in St. John Bosco’s Preventive Method, Save Environment Training, CPR, and First Aid. Under our expert guidance, boys grow in wonder at God’s creation, deepen their faith, and renew their joy in an experience that’s both safe and spiritually enriching.
