Challenging Adventures Leading to Firm Resolve
The world will unrelentingly challenge a man who strives to live and love his Faith. Through strenuous wilderness adventure, our expeditions are designed to prepare young men for the challenges of living a holy life. When met with physical, mental, and spiritual struggle in the midst of adversity, participants will have the opportunity and expert guidance to help them find the magnitude of their strength and its true source in God.
- Pursuing God, Not Thrills
Bosco Ministries' expeditions are more than just a thrilling outdoor adventure. In the process of working with a team to complete demanding physical journeys, participants will grow in their reliance on God for mental, physical, and spiritual strength. Surrounded by impressive examples of God's majestic creation and accompanied by expert spiritual and wilderness guides, expeditioners will have all the opportunity, inspiration, and support to make great strides in their ability to conquer adversity. Rooted in faith, these expeditions will teach young men to pursue God above all else, and how to stay close to Him amidst the highs and lows of life.
- Guided by Experts
We are dedicated to forging faith and character through exemplary leadership. Our expeditions are led by FSSP Priests and seminarians, as well as expert outdoor guides from partnering organizations like COR Expeditions. They are a valuable opportunity for young men to grow quickly in challenging circumstances through the spiritual and wilderness guides that will be so uniquely available to them during the trip. Participants will have the opportunity to witness joyful resilience in their leaders, and be accompanied closely in growing in it themselves.
- A Saintly Model
All of our programs are inspired by the example and methods of St. John Bosco. Dedicated to the spiritual well-being of young people, Don Bosco catechized boys through the Sacraments, studies, and playing games. He was passionate about the truths of the faith, the power of the Sacraments, and the need for a deep spiritual life to take root starting in youth. Following St. John Bosco's saintly example and using his Preventative Method, Bosco Ministries' expeditions ignite a fierce love of God and His Church in participants' hearts.
